CantarisDSC00421 Cantaris continues his winning ways with top placings in huge CDI classes – This incredibly consistent Small Tour gelding owned by Elizabeth Ferber has been placed in the top tier in the huge (over 60 entries) CDI classes in Wellington, Florida this season. Together, he and Shannon are long listed for the Canadian Equestrian Team, and are in real contention to be named to the Pan American Games Team in 2015.
AlfieDevonJog Allegro II (owned by Sally Alksnis and myself) made his CDI debut at the NEDA Fall Festival with a second place finish and a score of over 71% in the Prix St George. He also was 5th in the CDI at Dressage at Devon with a score of over 69%. This up and comer is going to make a huge impression in the Grand Prix ring next year when he debuts.
Ayschapregnant2Ayscha (Welt Hit II x Rouletto) is very pregnant with her first foal. The sire is the amazing Franziskus who is trained and ridden by Ingrid Klimke in Germany. This baby Is for sale! With the blood of two super horses in his (or her) veins, this foal will be a spectacular prospect for the Grand Prix ring!

His ability to piaffe, passage and pirouette is second to none, and he has the most amazing temperament! There can’t be many Irish Draught horses do Grand Prix Dressage!
ddlogohorse The young Serpico (Sir Donnerhal x Brentano) has debuted in the show ring at Third and Fourth Level, with scores into the 70’s. Now he will continue training and getting experience, and we expect him to debut at Prix St George in the fall, with spectacular results.

On Sunday afternoon 16 March 2014, Canadian Shannon Dueck topped the Intermediaire 1 Freestyle at the 2014 CDI-W Wellington aboard Elizabeth Ferber’s Cantaris with the pair’s best score yet. They finished first with a 71.625% for the top finish. Second place went to Antonio Rivera Galarza (MEX) and Wimbledon for their score of 68.542%. Campaign for London Olympics Continues

Shannon and Ayscha acheived 70.4% in the Grand Prix at the Global Dressage Festival in February, and at the Palm Beach Derby CDI a 66.468% in the Grand Prix and a great score of 67.689% in the Grand Prix Special. These scores are helping Shannon and Ayscha in their bid for a team spot at the London Olympics. With only a few more chances to gain the scores needed, it is getting exciting now!

2012 starting off well for Shannon’s students

Shannon’s student Susanne Hamilton won the Intermediate 2 at the Palm Beach Derby with over 66%, riding the lovely stallion Lord Locksley. Other students doing super in the Florida show season include Willette Brown, Lee Garrod, Jean Klaucke and Deb Hilton.
